Richard E. Pollock, 76, of Washburn, passed away at 4:03 pm Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born Nov. 25, 1944, in Pekin, IL, to Richard D. and Evelyn Anderson Pollock. He married Linda Fisher Stutzman in Peoria, IL, on Dec. 12, 1987. She survives.
Also surviving are daughters Kristy (Brian) Boggs and Deborah (Rod) Logan; grandchildren: John (Kathleen), Trent and Lance Boggs; Rebekah (Jabin) Lutz; Anna, Caleb, Sarah, Daniel, Katie, Charlie and Evan Logan; Cole (Alison), Jessie and Jake Miller; great-grandchildren Dean Lutz and Josie Miller; and sister Sue Anderson.
Rich was preceded in death by his parents, stepdaughter Jennifer Miller, sister Lynn and brothers Fred and Ray.
Rich was a U.S. Army Vietnam War vet. He worked as a truck driver until he retired.
He was a member of American Legion Post 661 in Washburn. He loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed.
Cremation has been accorded. Visitation will be 2 to 3:30 pm on Sunday, May 2, 2021, with a memorial service at 3:30 at Bethany Community Church, 27577 Dutch Lane, Washington, IL.
Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
