Obituary Rhonda Hale, 56, of East Peoria, passed away at 3:25pm, Saturday, March 28, 2015 at her home. Rhonda was born February 23, 1959 in Peoria, to Charles and Joann Bentz Hale. Surviving is a sister, Linda (Lonnie) Driskill; daughter, Shylynn Upchurch; sister-in-law, Cheryl Hale; 3 nephews, 1 niece, 1 great-niece; and many close friends including Melinda Lange and Robyn Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Rick and Chuck Hale. Rhonda worked as a clerk on the surgical floor at St. Francis for 19 years. She was a member of East Peoria Community Church, was active in the Girl Scouts, and enjoyed fishing. She loved being an aunt and a mom. A funeral service for Rhonda will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm, Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the funeral home, and one half hour prior to the service Wednesday. Pastor Curt Rowden will officiate.
