Obituary
Raymond "Ray" Joseph Tigue, 63, of Bellevue, IL passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2017 while recovering from heart surgery at his sister's home.
Ray is survived by three children, Nikole (Travis) Bacon of Colorado Springs, CO, Stefanie (Jason) Hartman of St. Louis, MO, and Adam (Susanna) Tigue of Troy, MO; two grandchildren: Alexis Foster and Connor Bacon, both of Colorado Springs, CO; four sisters, Anne (Jeff) Halter of Magnolia, OH, Joyce (Rob) Heiple of Metamora, IL, Kathy (Mike) Morris of Peoria Heights, IL, Laurie Tigue Malone of St. Charles, MO; two brothers, Gerry (Alice) Tigue of Meridian, ID , Dan (Marsha) Tigue of Peoria, IL and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Tigue; his mother, Rose Riley Tigue and his father, Leo Tigue.
Raymond "Ray" Joseph Tigue was born February 6, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Leo Gerald and Rose Riley Tigue. He graduated from Peoria High School and worked as a mechanic and R/C car business owner throughout his life.
Ray was an animated father and person. He enjoyed laughing and making people laugh by telling stories of his life. He enjoyed racing miniature cars and fixing the big ones. He loved NASCAR and anything to do with racing. Ray was a big kid that never grew up and often made people happy just being around him. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
