Obituary Raymond L. Hagan, 86, of East Peoria, IL, died at 4:45 am Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Morton Terrace Care Center in Morton, IL. Born on July 4, 1923 in Peoria, IL to Howard C. and Gertrude Closen Hagan, he married Helen Harris on December 31, 1967 in Lacon, IL. She survives. Also surviving are 6 daughters, Janice (Frank) Molina of Tucson, AZ, Judith Perkins of El Paso, TX, Jill Robison of Creve Coeur, IL, Joy Knoll of Poway, CA, LeAnne (Matt) Sommer and RayAnne Hagan both of Peoria, IL; 1 son, James (Cindy) Coyle of Brundridge, AL; 1 brother, Glen Hagan of Bartonville, IL; 1 sister Darlene Dickens of East Peoria, IL and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 grandchild, and 1 brother, Virgil Hagan. Raymond was a US Army veteran serving during WWII. Raymond was a retired steamfitter with Local #353 in Peoria. He attended Cross Point Church in East Peoria. Raymond was a member of Hilton Lodge in East Peoria, Peoria Consistory and the Abbas Grotto in East Peoria. He also was a member of the American Legion #318 in Morton and the V.F.W. Post #2078 in East Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
