Obituary Peoria - Raymond L. Fox, 81, of Peoria, passed away at 10:06 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. He was born April 7, 1933 in Hannibal, MO to Lester and Lula Clark Fox. He married Marcella Hoover in January of 1960. She also passed away on January 13, 2015. He was also preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, James; and great-granddaughter, Breann. Surviving are six children, Jeanna Hippen, Terry (Angela) Fox, Randy (Anne) Fox, Mark (Stacey) Fox, Brenda (Gregg) Devanna, Roger Fox; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Fox, Eugene (Earlene) Fox; and sister, Carolyn (Bob) Ogle. Raymond was a Korean War Army Veteran. He worked at Caterpillar Inc. until retiring in 1985. He enjoyed playing fast pitch softball as a pitcher, was an avid fan of the Bradley Braves and New York Yankees. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. A Funeral Service for Raymond and his wife, Marcella will be at 12 Noon Friday, January 16, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria with Rev. Howard Love officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
