Randy Randall, 72, of Benson, died at 10:12 am on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in his home.

He was born May 21, 1951 to the late Shirley A. (Schneider) and Eugene F. Randall in Peoria, IL. He married Diana Marie Bursott on April 16, 1996. She preceded him in death on September 16, 2011.

He is survived by his children, Christina Randall of Peoria, and Brent (Ashley) Randall of Hendersonville, TN; his grandchildren, Anderson Randall, Katelyn Randall, and Beckam Randall all of Hendersonville, TN; his siblings, Lee (Beth) Randall of Washington, Norma Brecher of Peoria, Barbie (Ken) Ashburn of Creve Coeur, and Jim (Becky) Randall of Washington; and his beloved dog, Daisy.

Randy was actively involved in the Refresh and Retreat Stroke Survivor Camp as a survivor himself. He enjoyed fishing with his friend Roger Norman. Randy was fond of hunting, especially when it came to duck and geese season. Before his wife, Diana, had passed they were often found in the Country Western dance competition. Whether it was teaching or competing themselves, they were passionate about dance and enjoyed having something to share with the world. Randy was a kind soul with a heart of gold, and will be dearly missed by those that loved him most.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10:30 am at Benson Baptist Church, with Pastor Christopher Brown officiating. Visitation will be a half hour prior to the service at the church. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Benson Baptist Church or Refresh and Retreat Stroke Survivor Camp in memory of Randy.
