Obituary Washington - Randall W. "Randy" Gordon, 55 of Washington died at 11:10 AM on Sunday December 29, 2013 at his residence. He was born on December 10, 1958 in Peoria to John D. and Evelyn J. (Peak) Gordon. His father John and one brother Ron preceded him in death. He married Karen Sue Reavley on April 17, 1976 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are his parents Robert G. and Evelyn J. Schrock of Washington, one daughter Brandi Gordon of Peoria, his siblings; Daniel (Debbie) Schrock of Washington, Barb (Steve) Skinner of Daytona Beach, FL, David Schrock of Washington, Joni Lee (Larry) Karcher of Morton, Edward Schrock of Washington, Sara (Tom) Seckler of Metamora, Tamilyn Gordon of Washington and Thomas (Karen) Schrock of Washington, and several nieces and nephews. Randy worked several years as a construction worker for both Schrock and Sons and Lucas and Sons Construction in Washington. The last seven years he stayed home and cared for his parents. He loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Randy donated his body to medical science. There will be a celebration of Randy's life from 2-5 PM on Sunday January 12, 2014 at The American Legion in Washington. There will be a memorial service at 3 PM with a luncheon to immediately follow the service. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is handling arrangements.
