Obituary PEORIA - Randall Edward Douglas, 46, of Petersburg, IL and formerly of Peoria, died at 8:36 am on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at his residence, after being ill for several months. He was born on November 2, 1961 in Peoria, IL to George E. and Betty J. Chance Douglas. Surviving are his parents George and Becky Douglas of Mackinaw, 2 brothers, Bradley (Debbie) Douglas of Mackinaw and Neal (Erin) Douglas of Danvers, 1 nephew, Reece Douglas of Danvers and 3 nieces, Ashley and Tiffany Douglas of Mackinaw and Lexy Douglas of Danvers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Ruth Douglas. Randy was a 1979 graduate of East Peoria Community High School and attended Western Illinois University and Bradley University. Randy taught music at Peoria Academy, and also gave private voice and piano lessons. A talented musician, he was active in community theaters throughout the Peoria area, and participated in over 80 plays during his lifetime. A memorial service will be at 11 am Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria. The Pastor Doug Habegger will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services, from 10-11 am. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the Fine Arts Department at Peoria Academy.
