Ralph Eugene Krall, 80, of Washington, passed away at 2:46 am Monday, March 29, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 4, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Eugene and Frances Martin Krall. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Faith Zugay-Cornell. He married Rina Ort in Honolulu, HI on October 27, 1963. She survives. Also surviving are three children, Lance (Pam) Krall, Emmett (Deb) Krall, Audrey (Mark) Nielsen; eight grandchildren, Ryne, Erick, Maggie, Molly, Emily, and Owen Krall, and Mayah and Eleanor Nielsen; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Ralph was a United States Army veteran serving with the 25th Infantry. He was the founder of Ralph's Floor Fashions in Washington. He ran the family owned business for over 35 years, retiring in 2015. Ralph was a Charter Board Member of the Sunnyland Businessman Association in 1990. He was also an active member of the Central Illinois Beekeepers Association. Ralph was an active member of the United Presbyterian Church of Peoria where his Memorial Service will be held at 11am Saturday, April 3, 2021 with Rev. Debra Avery officiating. Family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 10 to 11am on Saturday. Inurnment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Cremation has been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kendall County Special Olympics or to the United Presbyterian Church of Peoria.
