Obituary PEORIA - "Sunny" Pok Sun Tompkins, 70, of Peoria, IL, died at 11:07 am Sunday, November 17, 2013 in Peoria, IL. She was born on February 5, 1943 in Daegu, Korea. She was previously married to Richard Tompkins on October 4, 1968 in Seoul, Korea. Surviving are 3 children; Kimberly (Steve) Skipworth of Houston, TX, Bryan (Karen) Tompkins of Nicholasville, KY, and Susan Tompkins (Paul Kafadar) of Santa Barbara, CA, one brother, Gyuchang Oh of Seoul, Korea, and 2 grandchildren, Ella Grace and Amelia Rose. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Theresa Leigh Tompkins, her parents and 1 brother. Sunny was a member of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Peoria where she was very active and also enjoyed traveling. Services will be at 11 am Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Reverend Beunghoon Choi, Pastor will officiate. Visitation will be from 10-11 am on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka, IL.
