Phyllis A. Mosher, 77, of Washington, passed away at 5:29am Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born October 14, 1943 in Peoria to Russell and Elizabeth Purcell Harvey. She married Thomas B. Schofield. He preceded her in death. She later married George Mosher in Eureka on November 8, 1995. He survives. Also surviving are six children, Ellen (Wayne) Butler, Kim (Kenny) Vanderpool, Jim (Cheryl) Schofield, Tony (Beth) Schofield, Debra Jo (Chris) Hofmann, Kristin (Matt) Brown; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Beth Hansen and Lynn Tilley. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom Harvey; and sister, Sharon Becerra. Phyllis enjoyed worked as a waitress at Leonardo's in Peoria for over 20 years before retiring. She also loved going to garage sales and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed. Cremation has been accorded. Visitation will be from 5 to 7pm Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. A memorial service will be held at 10am Friday, August 13th at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter in Pekin.
