Obituary EAST PEORIA-Phyllis A. Giebelhausen Dausmann, 89, of East Peoria, died at 8:30 PM Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria. She was born on January 30, 1926 in East Peoria to Edward C. and Vera M. Millard Giebelhausen. She married Charles Dausmann on October 28, 1944; he preceded her in death on March 25, 1986. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Wayne, Warren and Elmer Giebelhausen. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a homemaker and was also a member of First United Methodist Church of East Peoria and East Peoria Women's Club. She enjoyed and supported East Light Theatre in many ways including ushering at various events. A Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Monday, February 9, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Pastor Wendy Popp will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorials may be made to East Peoria Historical Society.
