Obituary EAST PEORIA- Phyliss A. Blackledge, 76 of East Peoria died at 6:13 PM on Friday April 27, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born on March 17, 1936, in Peoria to Ace and Hattie (Mitchell) Edwards. She married Herman L. Blackledge on Oct 19, 1957 in Corinth MS., He survives along with many Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents 4 sisters Sarah, Gloria, Maglinda and Carol also three brothers Bob, Glenn and Jack. Phyliss worked as a dietitian for Proctor Hospital and also Apostolic Nursing Home in Peoria. She then worked at Brown Dental Lab in East Peoria. Phyliss loved to play bingo and also go fishing. Services for Phyliss will be on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
