Obituary Paula E. Thomas, 67, of Washington, passed away at 6:15pm Friday June 17, 2016 at her home. Paul was born November 13, 1948 in Bremerhaven, Germany to the Reinhold and Wilma Rode Holtzhauser. She married Lowell James Thomas on November 23, 1965; he preceded her in death on January 5, 1996. Surviving is her son, Scott (Kelly) Thomas of Knightstown, IN; her significant other, Hubert Tinsley, and his children, Darrin (Kelley) Tinsley and Kathy (Lonnie) Romero; and Gaby (Rollie) Tietjen, her family in Germany; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sibling. Paula worked for the United States Department of Defense for over 20 years. She loved all animals, especially her dachshunds. She enjoyed shopping and fishing. Above all, she loved taking care of her family and cooking. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to TAPS No-Kill Shelter.
