Obituary Paul C. Lamprecht, 64, of East Peoria, IL died at 9:35 AM on January 22, 2010 at home after a 3 year battle with brain cancer. He was born on December 11, 1945 in Washington, IL to Carl Christian and Ruth Zelma DeBolt Lamprecht. He married Sharon Rennau on January 13, 1973 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, Brad (Lisa) of Morton, William (Tami) of East Peoria, Tim of Nashville, TN; 1 daughter, Amy (Jason) Gerlach of Washington; 1 brother, William Lamprecht of Collinsville, IL; 2 sisters, Naomi (Ray) Hart of Hopedale, IL, Carlene (Larry) Austin of Sealy, TX; and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Paul was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and one of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren. Paul worked as a skilled carpenter for 40 years. He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in East Peoria for over 23 years. A funeral service for Paul will be at 10 am on Tuesday January 26th 2010 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in East Peoria. Pastor Fred Doughty will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
