Paul A. Hlavach, 48, of Washington, IL died at 10:03 pm Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 1, 1970 in Peoria, IL to John D. and E. Jane Tucker Hlavach. Surviving are his mother, E. Jane Hlavach of Washington, IL; siblings, Mary (Scott) Foster of Washington, IL, Steve (Meghan) Hlavach of Whitefish Bay, WI, Katie (Kevin) Bruemmer of Bloomington, IL; and nieces and nephews, Dyllan Foster, Reid Foster, Case Foster, Cannon Foster, Ava Hlavach, John Hlavach, Jack Bruemmer, Eliza Bruemmer, and Josie Bruemmer. He was preceded in death by his father. Paul was a 1988 graduate of Bergan High School in Peoria, IL. He received his Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry from University of Illinois in 1992. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; especially his nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 am 12:00 Noon on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Due to his interest in medical studies, Paul has chosen to donate his body to medical science. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Illinois CancerCare for medical research.
