Obituary Metamora - Patricia A. Honegger, 76, of Metamora, formerly of Washington, died at 5:25 AM on Saturday March 10, 2012 at her home. She was born January 30, 1936 in Peoria to George W. and Mary Cecilia Hirner Vicary. She married Stan Honegger on February 11, 1956 in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are three daughters; Andrea (Jim) Grant of East Peoria, Mary (Chris) Garrison of Peoria and Lisa (Terry) Tabb of Washington, one brother; Steven (Jan) Vicary of East Peoria and one sister; Shelly (Ken) Perhay of Farmer City. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Dan and Joe Grant, Lindsey Garrison, Amy and Nic Tabb, Emily Brashear and one great granddaughter Jaida Fernandez. She was preceded in death by her parents. Patricia was a 1954 graduate of The Academy of Our Lady in Peoria. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved to entertain in her home. She also enjoyed traveling, fishing, golf, and playing bridge. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Metamora, where a funeral mass will be held at 10AM Wednesday March 14, 2012. Father Donald Roszkowski will officiate. There will be a visitation from 5-7 PM Tuesday at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington and half an hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation will be accorded after the service. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice.
