Patricia Louise Connaughton, 88, of Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Apostolic Christian Skylines.

She was born on July 7, 1936  to Bertha Emma (Wageman) and Emory Zinser in Peoria. She married Thomas H. Connaughton on May 13, 1956 in East Peoria. He preceded her in death on May 27, 1999.

Surviving are her children, Cindy (Pat) Owens of Decatur, IL and Brian (Lisa) Connaughton of Washington, IL; her grandchildren, Jake (Taylor) Owens, Rachel Lorett, Chelsea (DJ) Nevitt, and Beau Connaughton; and her 4 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; and her 5 siblings.

Patricia was a lifelong member at Washington Christian Church. She was a spiritual woman who enjoyed gardening. She loved spending time with each of her grandchildren. She was known to be well loved at Apostolic Christian Skylines. A big thanks to Apostolic Christian Skylines for taking great care of Patricia. She will be dearly missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an organization of the Donor's choice.

A visitation will be held at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Inurnment will take place at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
