Patricia D. Chepan, 89, passed away on March 27, 2022 at Lifepath Hospice House in Sun City Center, FL.  She was born February 25, 1933 in Chicago, IL to the late Floyd H. and Margaret (Williams) Higginbotham.

She married Donald Chepan in 1977; he preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by son, Skyler Pearce; daughter, Shelli Shoop; and stepson, Scott Chepan.  She is survived by stepson, Allen (and Laura) Chepan; six grandchildren, Barry, Kevin, Nicole, Dara, Caitlin, and Samantha; sister, Julie (and Dennis) Wickersham; and brother, Jon Higginbotham.

Pat was a homemaker who loved dogs, watching birds and squirrels at her bird feeder, and making crafts.  She and Don enjoyed traveling, walks in the woods, and spending time at home together.  She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Washington, IL

Cremation has been accorded.  Pat will be buried, along with her husband, Don, who passed away January 22, 2021.  They will rest together forever at Glendale Cemetery in Washington, IL.  Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
