Ophie Brook, 102, of East Peoria, passed away at 3:31pm on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at River Crossing in East Peoria.

Ophie was born June 11, 1920 in Graves County, KY to the late Gilbert E. and Ivis Charlton Black. She married Lawrence H. Brook on December 24, 1940 in Fulton, TN; he preceded her in death in 1993.

Surviving are her children, Wanda Couch and Dale Brook; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three nieces.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Ophie was a homemaker and enjoyed a lifelong relationship with her Savior.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Friday, July 15, 2022 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield, KY at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the East Peoria Church of Christ food pantry.
