Obituary Norma L. Gohring, 73, of Washington, IL passed away at 3:49 pm on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Born on September 15, 1932 in Peoria, IL to Howard and Hazel Crooks Hagaman, she married Donald Gohring on May 2, 1953 in Peoria, IL. Survivors include her loving husband, 2 daughters, Doneita McDermid and Diana Gohring both of Peoria, IL, 1 son David Gohring of Washington, IL, 1 brother, Glenn Hagaman of Dwight, IL and 1 sister, Gloria McCaw of Deer Creek, IL, 3 grandchildren, Jonathan, Noah, and Andrew Gohring and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister Carol Krause. Norma loved the Lord and taught for many years in her church. She loved to cook, and do things for others. She loved her grandsons. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by many. She was a member of Faith Christian Centre in Washington. Services will be at 10 am Friday, July 21, 2006 at Faith Christian Centre. The Rev. Larry R. Nuttall will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
