Obituary WASHINGTONa"Nola L. Christian, 81, of Washington died at 7:40 AM on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at her residence. Born on Feb 24, 1929 in McDonough Co, IL to Orlow and Ruth Teel Beck, she married Robert L. Christian on Sept 21, 1947 in Macomb, IL. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2010 in Peoria. Surviving is her daughter, Linda Renfroe of East Peoria; grandson, Rob (Angie) Renfroe and 3 great granddaughters, Kaylee, Courtney and Kendra, all of Hanna City; and 2 sisters, Shirley Morgan and Jenny Marks both of California. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Booth and brother, Junior Beck. Nola retired from Interstate Producers Livestock Association where she served as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Highview Church of God in Washington and enjoyed cooking and gardening. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Fri, Jan 21 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton. The Rev. Richard Fitzwater will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thurs, Jan 20 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington.
