Nancy Sizemore, 82, of Washington, passed away at 11:50pm Friday, July 14, 2023 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

She was born March 24, 1941 in Streator to the late Edward and Sophie Steffens Schulte. She married Marion Sizemore on November 24, 1960 in Toluca; he preceded her in death in 2014.

Surviving are her sons, Steve Sizemore and Rob (Robin) Sizemore; and her grandchildren, Nick, Alex, and Ashlyn.

Nancy returned to college later in life, and completed a degree in social work after her sons were raised. Over the years, she served the community as a counselor with the Tazwood Center for Wellness until her retirement.

A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 11:30am Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be one hour prior to the ceremony at the funeral home. Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
