Nancy Kay McIntyre, 81, of Chillicothe, formerly of Washington, passed away on January 1, 2023 at 5:02 p.m at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home with her three daughters by her side.

She was born on January 20, 1941 to the late Clifford and Mardell (King) Arnold in Mason City, Illinois. She married Donald R. McIntyre Sr. on June 26, 1960 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2007.

Nancy was also preceded in death by their two sons; Donald R. McIntyre Jr. and Clifford J. McIntyre; her three brothers; Jerry Lee, Jack, and David; and one infant grandson; Mark A. Green.

She is survived by their three daughters; Kimberly Green of Rockford, Melody (Anthony) Pompa of Chillicothe, and Jennifer (Matthew) Hunter of Peoria. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Nancy was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

The visitation ceremony will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. The Funeral will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11 am at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. The burial will take place following the funeral at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton. Pastor Kurt Smith from Northwoods Community Church will be officiating.
