Nancy J. Gendron, 75, of East Peoria, passed away at 12:50pm Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She was born August 29, 1947 in Peoria, IL to the late Walter Fredericks and Ruth Wyatt Lierle.  She married Jerry D. Gendron.  He preceded her in death on December 19, 2021.  She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Brooks.

Surviving are five sons, Scott (Shelia) Chaney, Kevin (Tonya) Chaney, Jerime (Jamie) Gendron, Anthony (Elaine) Chaney, LD (Jennifer) Chaney; 14 grandchildren, Erin, Tyler, Brittany, Ashley, Kyle, Jerime, Jackson, Kane, Colton, Payton (Ben), Cassidy, McKinzie, Lauren (Tyler), and Thomas (Morgan); five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jimmy (Nancy) Lierle, Jerry (Rose) Fredericks, Mike (Susan) Fredericks; and two sisters, Carolyn Lierle, Jayne (Mike) Kelly.

Nancy was a homemaker most of her life.  She enjoyed watching baseball and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.  She will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Friday July 28, 2023 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.  Visitation will be one hour before the service on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
