Nancy Lee Albritton, 74, of Peoria, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 26, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Peoria, IL on December 4, 1950 to Earl and Marilyn (Holzinger) Parrott.   She is survived by her long time companion, Ross Buskirk; five daughters, Christina Sanders, Leah (Patrick) Hirsch, Stephanie Albritton, Brittney Cone, Ashley (Jerry Cassidy) Buskirk; 14 grandchildren, Terriel, Allison, Anna, Jasmine, Alyxandra, Izabella, Ryleigh, Sawyer, Brooklyn, Dominic, Aven, Dakota, Kyle, Keri; three great-grandchildren, Jalynn, Frankie, Bryce; and two brothers, Richard (JoBeth) Parrott, and Michael Parrott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Parrott and Marilyn Allison; son, Jason Buskirk; sister, Carolyn Rainwater; and two son-in-laws, Marcellus Sanders, and Brent Cone.

Nancy worked as a computer programmer, retiring from the Greater Peoria Sanitary District after many years of service.

She enjoyed spending time with her special group of friends, known as "The Huggie Bunch".  She had a lifelong passion for genealogy, loved to read, loved dragons, and was a huge fan of LOTR and Star Wars.  She was also a passionate supporter of President Obama.  Finally, we would be remiss if we did not include her true best friend, her dog Finnley Reuben. She will be dearly missed.

Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded.  There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to TAPS No Kill Animal Shelter in Pekin.
