Obituary WASHINGTON- Mossie Lucille Hines, 92, of Washington passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 9:02AM at UnityPoint Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born January 15, 1922 to Jacob J.C. and Minnie V. Kirby Williams in Franklin County, Alabama. Mossie married Marvin L. Hines on December 24, 1937 in Russellville, Alabama. Together they shared 76 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on April 3, 2014. Surviving is her son, William "Bill" (Patricia) Hines of Bedford, TX; grandchildren, Kevin (Emily) Hines of Avon, IN, Kim (Tim) Sullivan of Crystal, MN, and Kirk (Shelly) Hines of Washington; seven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, Marvin, her parents, 4 sisters, and 1 brother. She was a homemaker. Mossie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Paris Avenue Church of Christ in Peoria. A funeral service for Mossie will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2015 at 2:00PM at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Rick Liggin will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the funeral home and a half hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Morton.
