Mischelle Brook, 55, of East Peoria, passed away at 4:34am Friday, July 30, 2021 at her home. Mischelle was born September 29, 1965 in Champaign to Edward and Diane Voss Edwards. On December 12, 1991, she married Dale H. Brook in Groveland; he survives. Also surviving is her mother, Diane Graham of Canton; her siblings, Rob (Barb) Edwards of Canton, Mark (Debbie) Edwards of Puryear, TN, Anna (Jim) King of Louisburg, NC, and Terri (Todd) Reed of Canton; her step-children, Amanda Jacob of Peoria and Adam (Lacey) Brook of Peoria Heights; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Mischelle worked many years at the Federal Reserve Bank in Peoria. She worked as the office manager for the City of East Peoria, until retiring in 2020. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Inurnment will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorial contributions may be made to TAPS No-Kill Shelter in lieu of flowers, as her adopted cat Pookie would only eat them.
