Obituary METAMORA-Mindy S. Morris, 40, of Metamora, IL passed away at 1:50 pm Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her home. Born on October 12, 1971 in Decatur, IL to Larry and Betty Fuqua Harris, she married Ken W. Morris on December 16, 1989 in Decatur. Mindy is survived by her husband, Ken, 1 son, Kyle J. Morris who is stationed with the US Navy in Japan, 1 daughter, Heather Morris at home, her parents, Larry and Betty, and 1 brother, Mike (Sheryl) Harris all of Mt. Zion, her Aunt Judy (Jerry) Madding, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Mindy received her nursing degree from Illinois Central College and was the manager of Fresenius Medical Care Dialysis Clinic in East Peoria. She enjoyed photography and took many pictures at her children's sporting events. Funeral services will be at 7 pm Monday, June 25, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, prior to services at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded after the services.
