Miles Thomas Beamer, 27, of East Peoria, formerly of Washington, passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

Miles was born on July 9, 1999, in Peoria, IL. He graduated from Washington Community High School.  He had several jobs over the years including at Parsons and Rivian.  He enjoyed fishing and camping trips with his family throughout the years and was an avid gamer. He loved music, good food and hanging out with his friends. Miles was the life of the party.

Miles was known for his infectious smiles, kind heart, and the joy he brought to those around him. He loved to laugh and was undeniably ornery. He had an old, loving soul and was genuine and beautiful inside and out. Miles was blessed with many close friends whose lives were enriched by his presence and who will miss him dearly.

Miles' memory will be forever treasured by his family, who loved him deeply, including his father, Thomas (Stacey) Beamer, Jr. of Eureka and his mother, Julie Beamer of Washington; his grandparents, Gail Beamer of Washington and Robert and Lynn Whitaker of Metamora; his sister, Erica (James) Logan of East Peoria; his brothers, Chase (Ashley) Beamer of Washington, and Owen Powers of Washington. He is also survived by his beloved nephews, Tavin and Jayden, and nieces, Alaina, Audrey, and Kylee; as well as his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Beamer, Sr.

He will be deeply missed, but his love, laughter, and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private celebration of life will be held.
