Obituary EAST PEORIAa"Mildred W. Peters, 68, of East Peoria died at 4:13 AM on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Heartland at Riverview in East Peoria. Born on October 19, 1941 in Quincy IL to John & Gussie Curles Lane, she married Raymond Peters on July 1, 1961 in Liberty IL. He survives. Also surviving are 2 children, Kelly (Tony) Chamberlain of Dayton, OH, and Jeff Peters of East Peoria; 1 brother, Donald (Katie) Lane of Baylis, IL; a niece, Wilena Bullard of East Peoria; a nephew, John (Becky) Bullard of Washington; and a grand-niece and -nephew, Matt and Christina Bullard, both of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Mildred worked as a school bus driver in East Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment of cremated remains will be held at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton at a later date. Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
