Obituary WASHINGTON - Mildred L. Lightner, 82, of Washington, IL died at 11:30 pm Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Washington Christian Village in Washington. She was born on April 21, 1928 in Jacksonville, AL to Gilbert B. and Carrie Lee Roberts Henderson. Surviving are 1 son Terry (Rita) Lightner of East Peoria, 2 brothers, Alfred (Darlene) Henderson of Washington, IL and Oscar Melvin (Annie) Henderson of Highland City, FL, and 1 sister, Julia Virginia (Fred) Darden of Ft. Myers, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 6 brothers. Mildred worked in the ink room at Fleming & Potter for 32 years. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of the cremated remains will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington at a later date. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
