Obituary Milagros "Mila" V. Burtsfield, 87, of Washington, passed away at 5:00am Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Select Post Acute Care in Eureka. Mila was born September 10, 1929 in Manila, Philippines to Alfredo V. and Paz Piquer Veloso. She first married Curtis Turner December 29, 1946 in Manila; she later married Ronald W. Burtsfield June 10, 1978 in Washington, IL. They both preceded her in death. Surviving are her children, James (Guyla) Turner, Charles (Debbie) Turner, Carol Ann (Kenneth) Williams, Ronald (Mary Jane) Burtsfield, Rodney (Patricia Marcouiller) Burtsfield, and Richard (Bonnie) Burtsfield; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rosetta Villanueva. Mila enjoyed camping and fishing. She also like to crochet. She was a longtime member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church. A funeral Mass for Mila will be held at 11:00am Thursday, April 6, 2017 at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, 424 Lourdes Church Rd., Metamora. Fr. Greg Jozefiak will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment will be at St. Mary of Lourdes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church.
