Obituary PEORIA - Michelle L. Losh-Laue, 50, of Peoria, IL, died at 11:30 am Sunday, March 28, 2010 at her home in Peoria. She was born on March 29, 1959 in Peoria to Richard R. and Darlene M. Kissner Losh. Surviving are 1 son, Aaron Losh of Peoria, and 1 daughter, Rachel (William) McDermott, of Ryan, IA, 3 step-children, Jessica Brooks of Peoria and Austin and Zachary Brooks, both of East Peoria, IL,6 grandchildren, Stormie, Isaiah, Bryanna, Brayden, Isabella, and Nolan, 2 brothers, Mark (Wanda) Losh of Elmwood, IL, and Rusty (Tammy) Losh of Peoria, her fianc Kelly Smith of Peoria, and 2 aunts, Kathy (Ron) Higdon and Sandra Kissner, both of Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, Jimmy Losh, and 2 infant siblings, Michael and Jenna. Before becoming ill, Michelle did in-home health care for DOORS, and had also worked as a medical office assistant. She also had co-owned "The Place To Be" restaurant in Princeville, IL with her best friend, Aimee Cottrell. Michelle was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #265 in Peoria. A service of remembrance will be at 10 am Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria, IL. Visitation will be from 5-7:30 pm Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the funeral home, where a Fraternal Order of Eagles service will be held at 7:30 pm. Burial will be in Smithville Cemetery in Hanna City. A benefit in Michelle's honor will be hosted by the Fraternal Order of Eagle #265 on May 29th beginning at 3pm.
