Obituary Michelle Lee Lashbrook, 38 of Washington died on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 9:48 PM at her residence. She was born February 19, 1973 in Murphysboro, IL to Ronald B. and Nancy Sue Grisham Hardwig. They survive. She married Sean Eric Lashbrook on June 13, 1992 in Murphysboro, IL. He also survives. Michelle was a devoted mother and deeply loved both of her sons: Johnathan Matthew Lashbrook and Joshua Aaron Lashbrook, both of Washington. She is also survived by one brother Michael Hardwig of Bloomington, two sisters Cammy (Ray) Thompson of Columbia, SC and Christine(Mark) Jarrett of Washington. Seven nieces and nephews and one great nephew also survive. Michelle was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and one niece, Danielle Elizabeth Thompson. Michelle graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 1994 with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Programming. She later worked for both Caterpillar Tractor Company in Peoria and State Farm Insurance in Bloomington as a computer programmer. Michelle's hobbies included sewing and embroidering. She especially loved her pet dogs and butterflies. There will be a funeral service for Michelle on Thursday at 7 PM at Washington Christian Church. Visitation will be from 5-7 Thursday at the church. Pastor Jeff Browning will officiate. A graveside service will be at 11AM Friday at Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is handling arrangements.
