Obituary Michelle Angela Coovert, 30, of Tremont, formerly of Washington, died at 5:09AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born July 22, 1983 in Peoria to Paul and Mary Huber Coovert. They survive and reside in Tremont. Also surviving are her two children; Morgan and Michaela; one sister, Melissa (Gavin) Ripley of Garner, NC, a very special uncle Paul Huber of Washington and several other aunts & uncles as well as a nephew expected in December and her paternal grandmother, Mae Coovert of Tremont. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Howard "Butch" (Madeleine) Huber, paternal grandfather David Coovert and a special cousin, Brian Coovert. She was a 2001 graduate of Washington High School. She later attended ICC and Midwest Technical Institute where she studied to become a medical office assistant. She then worked in the central Illinois area. Michelle especially enjoyed fishing and gardening with her children. She was a volunteer at TAPS for the last year and was a caregiver to her grandmother, Mae. She loved riding her horse, Toby. She had a love for animals and a special love for her daughters. Michelle was people person and never met a stranger. There will be a Funeral Mass at 10AM Monday, September 16, 2013, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Washington. Monsignor Timothy Nolan will officiate. Visitation will be from 2-4PM on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington with a prayer service at 3:45PM. Additional visitation will be held one half hour prior to mass at the church. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
