Obituary Michael Edward Krogman, 62, of Washington passed away on August 29, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer. Mike was born on May 14, 1950 in Clinton, Iowa to the late Milo and Patricia Krogman. He married Joan Sanders on June 12, 1976 in West Point, Iowa. Mike is survived by his wife, Joan; his son, Keith (Ashley) Krogman of Morton; his daughter, Karen Krogman of Syracuse, New York; and sister, Nan (Donn) Holst of Dewitt, Iowa. A niece, nephew, great nephew and several aunts also survive. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Platteville, Mike worked for Caterpillar for more than 35 years. During his career at Caterpillar, he worked in Mossville, Lafayette, and Peoria. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington. Mike loved traveling, attending art shows, and landscaping, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Honoring Mike's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington. Fr. Terry Cassidy will officiate. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass at the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.
