Obituary Michael R. Harness, 60, of East Peoria died at 7:05 am Thursday, March 16, 2017 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Born on February 8, 1957 in Peoria to Wendell and Irma Alsopp Harness, he married Dawn Marshall on May 3, 1986 in Wenona. She survives. Also surviving are 5 children, Steven (Diamond) Harness and Brianna Harness, both of Peoria, Linda Harness of Delavan, Charlie Harness of Brownsfield, TX, and Tommie Harness of East Peoria; granddaughter, Autumn Maple of Delavan; and 2 brothers, Steven (Karen) Harness of Clovis, CA and Gary Harness of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael was a fork lift operator for HK logistics in Mossville for 28 years. He loved fishing and camping. There will be no service. Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to Illinois CancerCare in Peoria.
