Michael W. Conner, 57, of Washington, passed away at 10:42pm Thursday, August 18, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born December 31, 1964 in Streator to Daniel P. and Gloria Jean Root Conner Sr.

Surviving are his mother, Gloria Jean Conner; two daughters, Mattie (Andrew) Yedinak, Sadie (Denise) Conner; three grandchildren, Garrett Dial, Shealynn Yedinak, Jasen Yedinak; and one brother, Daniel P. Conner Jr.  He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Sr.

Michael retired from the Illinois State Police in 2019, following 31 years of law enforcement service in Central IL.  He was a member of the F.O.P.

Cremation has been accorded.  A memorial service will be held at 5pm Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.  Visitation will be from 2 to 5pm prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an education fund for his grandchildren at any CEFCU.
