Obituary East Peoria- Marymargaret Joanna Toevs, 75, of East Peoria, IL died at 2:37 AM on Thursday April 26, 2012 at her residence. She was born on July 5, 1936 in Peoria, IL to Edward J. and Joanna Kovachevich Reising Sr. She married Loren Toevs on April 27, 1957 in Peoria, IL. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Loren, 4 daughters, Lori (John Clayton) Toevs of Worton, MD, Lisa (Mike) Smith of Colorado Springs, CO, Lynne (Tom) Zimmerman of Mackinaw, IL and Lauren (Kaye Abbey) Toevs of North Pekin, IL, 1 son, Robert E. (Ann) Toevs of Bay City, MI, 8 grandchildren, Joshua and Jorden Smith, Samantha Witbracht-Migit, Sydnee Zimmerman, Seely Toevs, Stephanie Clayton-Turner, Becky Abbey and Ray Abbey, 3 Great Grandchildren, Casey Turner, Jacob Turner and LuOra Abbey, 2 sisters, Helen Grebner of Bessmer, MI and Catherine (Jeff) Jones of Camden, ME, and 3 brothers, Edward John (Charli) Reising Jr. of Dayton, TN, Paul David (Josephine) Reising of Las Vegas NV, and William Dominic (Patti) Reising of Peoria, IL. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marymargaret was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Ursula Reising, one brother, James Joseph Reising, one brother-in-law Bernie, and two sister-in-laws Katie and Belle Reising. She was a 1955 graduate of Peoria Central High School. She was a volunteer for Marilac with Catholic Social Services and Meals on Wheels, and a Care Giver for East Peoria School District. Marymargaret's other life accomplishments were as a Boy and Girl Scout Leader, a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church in East Peoria as well as a former President of St. Monica's Guild, a C.C.D. teacher, an officer in Bolin School's Mother Club, an election judge and a columnist for the East Peoria Courier. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM Monday, April 30, 2012 at St. Monica's Catholic Church in East Peoria, IL. Monsignor James Kruse will be officiating. A Visitation will be held from 2-3:45 PM with a Prayer Vigil at 3:45 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria, IL. Entombment will be at Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria, IL. Service APR 30. 10:00 AM St. Monica's Catholic Church 303 Campanile East Peoria, IL, US
