Obituary East Peoria - MaryEllen Taylor, 76, of East Peoria passed away peacefully at 5:45 PM on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. MaryEllen was born on March 13, 1936 in Chicago, IL to the late Lawrence and Margaret Hennighan Taylor. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence Jr., Robert, Thomas and Donald Taylor. MaryEllen was an educator at Richwoods High School for 30+ years. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and canine companions. Funeral Service will take place at 2PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Visitation will take place two hours prior to service at the funeral home. Fr. Kenneth Marchulones will officiate. Honoring MaryEllen's wishes cremation rites will be accorded following the service and interment of her cremains will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
