Obituary EAST PEORIA - Mary V. Myers, 74, of East Peoria, died at 1:05 pm Saturday, December 6, 2008 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on July 5, 1934 in Waynesboro, GA, to Bryant and Josie Quick, she married William M. Myers on July 15, 1956 in Miami, FL. He survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Beth Myers of Peoria, IL, her son William (Della) Myers Jr. of Casper, Wyoming, her son-in-law, Chuck Patten of Peoria, 3 grandchildren, Chuckie and Curtis Patten and Marie Myers, and 3 brothers, Harry Quick, Bill Quick, and Bob (Liz) Quick all of Waynesboro, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Jo Marie Patten, on November 22, 2008. Mary was a loving wife and mother. She was an active member of Roland Manor Baptist Church in Washington where she taught Sunday school and helped with church dinners. Services for Mary will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Pastor Steve Hardin will officiate. Visitation will be from 11-12 on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or to her church.
