Mary Jo Grebner, 66, of Washington, passed away at 4:07pm Monday, November 14, 2022 at her home.

She was born January 21, 1956 in Peoria to the late Robert and Arlene Schertz Faubel. She married Alan Grebner on July 12, 1975 in Washington.

Surviving are her husband, Alan; her children, Laura Jo (Justin) Morrow of Washington and Jared Grebner of Chicago; grandchildren, Micah, Matthew, Anna, and Eve; and her siblings, Karen Kaufman, Lynne Brinker, and Dan Faubel.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jon Faubel.

Mary Jo was a lifelong resident of Washington and worked for OSF HealthCare for many years. She was a longtime, active member of Evangelical United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling and gardening, and loved her family and her dogs.

Mary Jo's family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00pm Friday, November 18, 2022 at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Washington. A service to celebrate her life and faith will be held at 3:00pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
