Obituary PEORIA HEIGHTS- Mary E. Dick, 102 of Peoria Heights passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 2:35 P.M. at Cornerstone Rehabilitation and Health Care in Peoria Heights. Mary was born on February 18, 1914 in Sparland to Barthel and Ursula Rosek Bervar. She married Lyonell P. Dick on June 27, 1942 in Pittsburg, PA. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. Mary is survived by her son, Mike (Sharon) Dick of East Peoria; one grandson, Mark (Marnie) Dick; and one great-grandson, Zeelan. She worked as a homemaker. Her family has fond memories of her working in her flower gardens. Gardening always brought her much happiness. She was a member of St. Monica's Church in East Peoria. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital- Midwest Affiliate. Cremation rites have been accorded.
