WASHINGTONa"Mark A. Lee, 49, of Washington, died at 5:45 PM on Monday, October 22, 2007 at his residence. Born on December 25, 1957 in Peoria, IL to Basil "Ken" and Donna R. Miller Lee, he married Kimberly J. Gee on February 2, 1980 in Washington, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his mother, Donna Lee of Washington and 1 son, Dana Andrew Lee of Washington; 4 brothers, Benjie (Beth) Lee of Las Vegas, NV, David Lee of Washington, John (Leslie) Lee of Washington, and Doug (Becky) Lee of Las Vegas, NV; 2 sisters, Pat "Susie" (Steve) Addler of Tenstrike, MN and Lisa (Tom) Phillips of Mongolia; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Bill Lee. Mark served in the US Army for 3 years. He has worked for Morton Metalcraft for the past 25 years, and had served as an Alderman for the City of Washington in Ward III, and was a current member of the city zoning commission. Mark was a member of the NRA, and also a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington. He loved to hunt and fish with his son, Dana. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 26, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. The Rev. John N. Bates will officiate. A memorial visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Military rites will be accorded following the memorial service on Friday at the funeral home.
