Obituary SUNNYLANDa"Marjorie M. Trovillion, 86, of Sunnyland died at 4:15 AM on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Manor Care in Peoria. Born on July 10, 1921 in Harmony Township, IL to George and Aurelia Walker McCallister, she married Joe W. Trovillion on September 1, 1940 in Wayland, MO. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1997. Surviving are 3 daughters, Sharon (Tom) Sullivan of St. Charles, MO, Janice (Rev. David) Meissner of Waukesha, WI, and Kathy (Larry) Dutton of Lewistown, IL; 3 sisters, Jean McCallister of Macomb, IL, Georgia (Gene) Douglas of Plymouth, IL, and Rosalie (Claus) Tanner of Mt. Pulaski, IL; 1 brother, Robert Cadwell of Carthage, IL; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 great grandchild. Marjorie graduated from Francis School of Beauty Culture in Quincy IL. She worked as a beautician for Brewers in downtown Peoria in the early '40s. She was a longtime member of Roland Manor Baptist Church, where she taught the preschool Sunday school class. Marjorie was a dedicated and active member until her declining health prevented her from participating in church events. Marjorie loved gardening, poetry and music. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 10 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Pastor Steve Hardin will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services, from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton, IL.
