Marjorie C. Howell, 87, of Eureka, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side at 4:40 pm Thursday, April 30, 2020. She was born November 8, 1932 in Benson, IL to Bernard W. and Clara Schroeder Redenius. She married Logan T. Howell in East Peoria on March 30, 1968. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Bud. Surviving are her son, William (Kim) Howell of Eureka; three grandchildren, Crystal Howell of Eureka, Thomas Howell of Eureka, Robert Howell of Washington; five great-grandchildren, Caidyn Kilpatrick, Hailey Kilpatrick, Logan Neeley, Rodney Neeley, Carter Martin; and sister, Evelyn (Bob) Gess of Henderson. Marjorie was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, camping, fishing and traveling. Spending time with her family was her greatest love of all and she will be dearly missed. Private services will be held with interment at Clayton Township Cemetery in Benson. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Advocate Hospice.
