Obituary Marjorie "Marge" Davis, 83, of East Peoria, passed away at 8:50pm Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Marge was born September 29, 1932 in Chicago to William and Marjorie (Garrity) Kelly. She married Delwin Davis August 3, 1955 in Peoria. Surviving is her husband, Del of East Peoria; children, Mary (Steve Hackleman) Dehne of Overland Park, KS and Paul (Julie) Davis of Marquette Heights; grandchildren, Leah, Chad, Cole, Erica, Brock, Kaitlyn, and Ryan; siblings, Sheila King, Bill Kelly, and Tom Kelly; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Kelly and Marjorie Kennedy; a son, John; and a sister, Patricia Dixon. Marge was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her family was most important to her, and she spent much of her time and energy guiding her family with love and faith. She was loving and giving, always looking out for friends and taking care of others. Marge was also an active member at St. Monica Catholic Church in East Peoria. A funeral Mass for Marge will be held at 10:00am Saturday February 6, 2016 at St. Monica Catholic Church in East Peoria. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm Friday February 5, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Interment will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to TAPS or St. Monica Catholic Church.
