Obituary EAST PEORIA - Marjorie M. Cassidy, 81, of East Peoria, IL died at 2:36 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Born on March 17, 1926 in Nokomis, IL to Leland and Madeline Zahrndt Hand, she married Hughie B. Cassidy on February 23, 1946 in Nokomis. He survives. Also surviving are 1 daughter Linda Jones (Rick Giebelhausen) of East Peoria, 3 sons, Terry (Sharon) Cassidy and Larry (Cindy) Cassidy, both of East Peoria, and Gary (Jean) Cassidy of Washington, IL, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Hughie "Butch" Cassidy Jr. Marge's primary focus in life was her family. She especially enjoyed family gatherings. She also raised parakeets and was known as an animal lover. Funeral services will be at 1 pm Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria. Pastor John Rothfusz will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to service from 11am to 1 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Due to the Memorial Day holiday, graveside services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorials may be made to T.A.P.S.
