Obituary Marilyn J. Sieg, 76, of Washington, IL died at 11:29 am Thursday, March 25, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born on February 14, 1934 in Peoria to Francis and Virginia Mammen McCann, she married Harold Sieg on June 16, 1951 in Washington. He survives. Also surviving are 5 sons, Charles (Mary) Sieg of Lewistown, Bruce (Lita) Sieg of Mapleton, Joseph (Kimberly) Sieg of Spring Bay, Brad (Mahala) Sieg of Peoria, Scott Sieg of Jacksonville; 3 brothers, Henry (Marilyn) McCann and Patrick (Dawn) McCann, both of Washington, Mike (Lynn) McCann of Peoria;1 sister, Nancy Rager of Peru; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Jim. As a homemaker, Marilyn was most proud of raising her five boys. She enjoyed working in her flower garden. Marilyn was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Peoria where a funeral mass will be 10am Monday March 29, 2010. Father Terry Cassidy will officiate. Visitation will be from 2-4 pm Sunday March 28, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington with a 3:45 prayer service. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in rural Washington.
